Horseback Riding Instructions - Grades K-8

As a part of CGI’s amazing activities, all campers enjoy horseback riding periodically throughout the summer.

Campers that choose to sign up for horseback riding lessons, receive a professional private lesson in addition to general recreation riding.

Children have an incredible opportunity to choose high-quality horseback riding lessons as an elective. Lessons are provided by the professional instructors of DDR Farm in Melville, offering top-notch training. Campers also enjoy exciting adventure trail rides — all set in the unparalleled beauty of a peaceful, scenic environment.

Swimming Lessons: - Grades k-8

Swimming training and technique improvement are under the guidance of Red Cross/Suffolk County Certified Water Safety Instructors. Our goal is to utilize the swimming time at camp to improve the campers’ swimming skills and motivate them for greater aquatic ability.

Rest assured that safety is priority #1. For those campers signed up for additional private swimming instruction, each camper will be tested at the onset of the summer and placed in appropriate training groups for instruction.
